The Role: 

The Neighbourhoods & Housing Directorate is looking for a strong team player who will join at a positive and exciting time as we work towards strengthening the Housing Options Service.

  • The role of a Prevention and Assessment Officer will work as part of a team preventing homelessness, ensuring timely assessments and supporting clients to prevent homelessness
  • You will work effectively with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure positive service user experience
  • As part of Prevention and Assessment Officer role you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with corporate standards
  • You will be expected to embrace change and be resilient and able to work flexibly and enthusiastically while dealing with the day-to-day expectations of the role
